Our friend Bill Coburn was up warly and toured all the potential areas that could have sustained mudflows. Nothing. In his words we dodged a bullet, I agree. Here is his full report. City sites have no updates as of 8 am this morning. My question would be when will they lift the yellow flag since the rain has stopped?
There is more rain coming. A large area of it now heading our way from Ventura. And since there is, wouldn’t it be incautious of the city to take down the yellow flag?
Severe Weather Alert:

If you go to Yahoo and click on weather for Sierra Madre, you will see that there is a ’severe weather alert’ in effect. Potential for lots more rain.
The City has extended the yellow flag alert, posted on the City Emergency blog at 9:04am this morning.
As I said in another blog, mud at 801 Skyland Drive. Bummer.
